About Me
Hello, I'm Tania, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I received my training at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, the largest nutrition school globally, offering a diverse range of insights and perspectives.
As your health coach, I'm here to motivate and support you as you set goals and make sustainable changes that enhance both your health and happiness.
My own health journey began in 2010 when I faced a series of autoimmune conditions. With the guidance of a supportive friend who was a wellness mentor and a team of holistic practitioners, I took control of my health through lifestyle changes. I immersed myself in a wealth of health literature, attended wellness conferences and lectures, and pursued my health coaching certification to empower others on their wellness journeys.
My mission is to help you Pivot and become the best version of yourself. Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive change.

What is a Health Coach?
Health Coaches don't impose solutions; instead, they empower clients with knowledge to make sustainable behavior changes aligned with their unique needs and goals.
The formula for a healthy life—eating well, regular physical activity, quality sleep, and self-care—is deceptively simple. Yet, real life often poses challenges that make it easier said than done.
We often tell ourselves this all-too-common story, complete with excuses that hinder us from reaching our health and well-being goals. That’s where a Health Coach comes in!
A health coach is your supportive guide on the journey to set and achieve health goals, whether it's weight loss, improved energy, stress management, or much more. Beyond mere accountability, they bridge the gap between traditional healthcare and sustainable, positive lifestyle changes.
By fostering a positive mindset around well-being, health coaches inspire and motivate clients to become experts on their health. They equip clients with holistic health knowledge and tools, but they don't dictate what's best for the client. Each person is unique, and health coaches respect that. They create a safe space for clients to explore what works for them and help clients become attuned to their body's signals, enabling them to feel their best and identify what depletes them.
Health Coaches adopt a holistic approach, examining all aspects of a client's life that influence well-being. They employ goal-setting and accountability-based coaching to address health issues comprehensively. While coaches provide information about different diets and supplements, they don't prescribe specific protocols.
Health and wellness coaching is a relatively new field centered on facilitating behavior change to achieve health and wellness goals. Coaches use a client-centered approach, where clients are seen as the experts in their own lives. The coach's role is to help clients identify and reach their goals.
Trust, empathy, and mutual respect are the building blocks of the coaching relationship. Health coaches offer a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, which is crucial for overcoming obstacles to healthy lifestyle changes. Effective communication skills like active listening, open-ended questions, and reflection empower clients to gain insights and develop sustainable plans for change.
